    Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts.

    Dalhousie, India is a famous hill station and tourist destination in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The hill station is popular for a number of adventure sports and other activities such as trekking, mountaineering, camping, and scenic walks. Dalhousie, India lies in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The elevation of this popular tourist spot is around 6400 feet or 2,000 meters.

    Chandigarh is a city and a union territory in the northern part of India that serves as the capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana. As a union territory, the city is ruled directly by the Union Government and is not part of either state.

    The city of Chandigarh was one of the early planned cities in the post-independence India and is known internationally for its architecture and urban design. The master plan of the city was prepared by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, transformed from earlier plans created by the Polish architect Maciej Nowicki and the American planner Albert Mayer.

  • Day 01
    FROM DELHI : Welcome onboard a wonderful tour with your own Golden Bird to one of the most happening destination Himachal Pradesh situated in the Himalayan range. Today, Pick Up from Delhi and Fly to Chandigarh approx 1 Hrs. From there, we start a scenic drive From Chandigarh through the mountains to Shimla approx 117 Km which will take around 3: hrs 30 min. Check in at the resort and relax.

    Note – Tourists coming down from other cities or countries have to reach Delhi max by 8am on the day of departure. The pickup will be from hotel near Airport, where guests can freshen up / have breakfast (on their own) and join the tour. The vehicles shall depart by 9am from this hotel. It’s also advisable that the clients reach Delhi a night prior to the date of departure so as to join the tour comfortably (please check with our holiday experts for special deals on suggested hotels near the airport.

    Day 02
    Post Breakfast, Today morning enjoy a city tour of Shimla. Visit The Ridge which is a large road open space, located in the heart of Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Ridge is the hub of all cultural activities of Shimla. Visit The Mall Road, Christ Church, Rashtrapati Niwas also know as Viceregal Lodge, It was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India.

    Day 03
    Today morning after filling delicious breakfast, visit Kufri. Kufri derives its name from ‘Kufr’ which means lake. It is especially popular among trekkers. The salubrious climate and stunning natural beauty makes Kufri a perfect summer getaway. Kufri is the venue for annual winter sports festival held in February. Kufri is also renowned for other adventures activities such as skiing, tobogganing (sliding downhill on a sled), etc. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh. Kufri is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. Thereafter visit the famous mall road of Shimla once again Evening is free to Explore market. You may Visit the Scandal Point, Jhakoo Temple (private vehicles do not have access to Jhakoo temple because of the location. The guests can take a shared taxi available on Mall Road and visit the temple. It’s advisable to visit the temple before it turns dark; hence the guests can first visit the temple and then spend time on the mall road.) After ample of Shopping time, return to your Hotel By your Own.

    Day 04
    After an early breakfast, depart for Dharamshala by road which is approx 233 Km & 4,780 feet. Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile.

    Day 05
    Post Breakfast, Visit sight scenes of McLeod ganj, Triund Hill with Dal Lake of Dharamshala and visit Dalai Lama Temple Complex. Evening is free to visit the market at Mcleodganj mall road also known as little Lhasa. Mcleodganj is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

    Day 06
    Post Breakfast, Visit Kangra Fort , From the earliest times until the British Raj, Dharamshala and its surrounding area was ruled by the Katoch Dynasty of Kangra. The Katoch Dynasty is said to be the oldest serving Royal Family in the world. The Royal Family still keeps a residence in Dharamshala, known as ‘Clouds End Villa’. The indigenous people of the Dharamshala area are the Gaddis, a predominantly Hindu group who traditionally lived a nomadic or semi-nomadic (transhumant) lifestyle. Due to the lack of permanent settlements in the area, some Gaddis lost their seasonal pastures and farmland when the British and the Gurkhas arrived to settle. There after the Day is all yours to explore the city and to Enjoy its Beauty.

    Day 07
    Post Breakfast, Head towards Dalhousie a hill station in Chamba Dist. in the northern states of Himachal Pradesh India which is about 117 Km far away from Dharamshala. Dalhousie is situated on 5 hills and has an elevation of 1,970 metres above sea level Dalhousie Town was named after Lord Dalhousie, who was the British Government -General in India while establishing this place as a summer retreat in 1854.
    Evening is free to relax and explore by yourself.

    Day 08
    Post Breakfast, If you want to enjoy uninterrupted views of this beautiful hill station, we will take you to the Mystic Boat Cruise journey to make your morning more Beautiful. After you will be taken to Gandhi Chowk Shopping plaza where you can find Good Food Cafe as well as 30-40 Shops. Apart from that one can go for souvenirs, warm clothes. There after we will Visit Rang mahal founded by Raja Umed Singh. Once the resident of a division of the ruling reigns this amazing palace is a mixture of British and Mughal style architecture. This beautiful architecture or culture attracts towards the visitors. This 18th century monument has the walls that are wizened with fine patterns of Punjab hill style wall paintings, which portray the life of Lord Krishna. A large number of ornamental and vibrant wall paintings have been separated and sent to the Delhi National Museum. The Rang Mahal the Himachal Emporium or the old palace houses which opens between 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm from Monday to Saturday.

    Day 09
    Post Breakfast, We will visit to Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary, The sanctuary area is well laid out for trekking trails both at Kalatop and Khajjiar. There is a dense deodar and fir forest covering 19.63 km² of the sanctuary, which is about 6 km from Dalhousie. Pheasants, serow and black bear are some of the common animals found here.[1] The sanctuary lies in the path of the Ravi River, and is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests. There after Khajjiar Lake, The lake is set in a huge grassy landscape, with evergreen cedar trees surrounding it from all sides. The lake takes its name from Khajji Nag, the deity in the temple nearby. The lake has considerably shrunk over the years and is now almost on the verge of vanishing. Evening is yours to Explore or relax in the Hotel.

    Day 10
    Early Morning After Breakfast, Drive back to Shimla which is approx 379 Km from Dalhousie and will take around 8 Hrs to reach.
    Evening is free to rest at the hotel or visit to market.

    Day 11
    In the Morning After Breakfast we will proceed towards Chandigarh from a famous Kalka- Shimla Railway From Shimla to Kalka. From there you will be taken to 4* Property in Chandigarh. At Night One can rest at the Hotel room or came out to explore the night of Chandigarh.

    Day 12
    Post Breakfast, Visit to The Rock Garden, a sculpture garden in Chandigarh, India, also known as Nek Chand’s Rock Garden after its founder Nek Chand, a government official who started the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. Today it is spread over an area of 40 acres. It is completely built of industrial and home waste and thrown-away items.
    After that you will be taken to Rose Garden, which is a botanical garden located in Chandigarh, India and spread over 30 acres of land, with 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species. Named after India’s former president, Zakir Hussain and created in 1967 under the guidance of Dr M.S. Randhawa, Chandigarh’s first chief commissioner, the garden has the distinction of being Asia’s largest.
    Evening will be spent at Sukhna Lake which is a reservoir at the foothills of the Himalayas, the Shivalik hills. This 3 km² rainfed lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills.

    Day 13
    Post Breakfast, You will be Dropped at Chandigarh Airport and then you will be transferred to the Delhi Airport for your onward flight home or your further journey.
