    Chandigarh is a city and a union territory in the northern part of India that serves as the capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana. As a union territory, the city is ruled directly by the Union Government and is not part of either state.

    The city of Chandigarh was one of the early planned cities in the post-independence India and is known internationally for its architecture and urban design. The master plan of the city was prepared by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, transformed from earlier plans created by the Polish architect Maciej Nowicki and the American planner Albert Mayer.

  • Day 01
    FROM DELHI : Welcome onboard a wonderful tour with your own Golden Bird to one of the most happening destination Himachal Pradesh situated in the Himalayan range. Today, Pick Up from Delhi and Fly to Chandigarh approx 1 Hrs. From there, we start a scenic drive From Chandigarh through the mountains to Shimla approx 117 Km which will take around 3: hrs 30 min. Check in at the resort and relax.

    Note – Tourists coming down from other cities or countries have to reach Delhi max by 8am on the day of departure. The pickup will be from hotel near Airport, where guests can freshen up / have breakfast (on their own) and join the tour. The vehicles shall depart by 9am from this hotel. It’s also advisable that the clients reach Delhi a night prior to the date of departure so as to join the tour comfortably (please check with our holiday experts for special deals on suggested hotels near the airport.

    Day 02
    Post Breakfast, Today morning enjoy a city tour of Shimla. Visit The Ridge which is a large road open space, located in the heart of Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Ridge is the hub of all cultural activities of Shimla. Visit The Mall Road, Christ Church, Rashtrapati Niwas also know as Viceregal Lodge, It was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of india.

    Day 03
    Today morning after filling delicious breakfast, visit Kufri. Kufri derives its name from ‘Kufr’ which means lake. It is especially popular among trekkers. The salubrious climate and stunning natural beauty makes Kufri a perfect summer getaway. Kufri is the venue for annual winter sports festival held in February. Kufri is also renowned for other adventures activities such as skiing, tobogganing (sliding downhill on a sled), etc. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh. Kufri is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the outskirts of the town. Thereafter visit the famous mall road of Shimla once again Evening is free to Explore market. You may Visit the Scandal Point, Jhakoo Temple (private vehicles do not have access to Jhakoo temple because of the location. The guests can take a shared taxi available on Mall Road and visit the temple. It’s advisable to visit the temple before it turns dark; hence the guests can first visit the temple and then spend time on the mall road.) After ample of Shopping time, return to your Hotel By your Own.

    Day 04
    After an early breakfast, depart for Manali by road which is approx 290 Km & 6,726 feet. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort in India”s nortern Himachal Pradesh State. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination set on the Beas River, Manali is also a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains. Enjoy the scenic beauty of enchanting Kullu Valley while you drive to Manali. In Hinduism, Manu was said to have survived a great flood that destroyed the rest of the world. He then recreated mankind in this Kullu Valley town. Later arrive in Manali check in at the hotel.

    Day 05
    Rotang and Solang Excursion: After early breakfast enjoy a breathtaking drive to Snow Point on the road to Rohthang Pass (Closed On Tuesdays). Known for its scenic beauty, Rohtang Pass holds strategic importance for India. Manali-Leh Highway, a part of NH 21, transverses Rohtang Pass. The name Rohtang means ‘ground of corpses’ due to the number of people who lost their lives trying to cross it. Besides Lahaul and Spiti, Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and the valley of Leh. The Pass offers beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. The twin peaks of Geypan are also visible from Rohtang.Later visit the famous Solang Valley. Solang Valley, locally known as Solang Nullah, is renowned as the preferred location for adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh. For those who love the rush of adrenaline; there is no place better than Solang in Kullu Valley to indulge in parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. It is 8500 feet above mean sea level. Solang is not just about adventure activities. Its lush greenery, apple orchards, snowcapped peaks and lakes attracts lacs of visitors. Return to hotel by the evening.

    Day 06
    Post Breakfast, In the morning visit Manali Sanctuary. The sanctuary starts about 2 km from manali spread over 3,180 hectares. It is the catchment of Manalsu khad. A path from Manali log huts and Dhungri temple passes through dense Deodar, Horse Chestnut, Walnut and Maple forests. Musk deer, Monal , and Brown bear, Leopard and Snow leopard are some of the common animals seen here. Evening is free to explore on your own.

    Day 07
    This morning after breakfast drive through 76 Km approx 2 Hrs proceed to Kasol, Kasol is a village in Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar to Manikaran.
    Kasol is fast emerging as a hub for backpackers, trekkers and nature lovers. It is yet to be ruined by commercialization. However, it is also one of those places you want to strike off your bucket list before you have children as it has a culture of pot smoking and hippie lifestyle. Even if you are not into either of those, there are many other things to do.
    Visit Parvati Valley, Parvati Valley in Himachal is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Starting at the confluence of River Parvati and River Beas, the valley is famous for its pretty as a picture coniferous forests and crystal clear mountain streams.
    A Walk by a River Parvati is Nothing like a nice stroll down a cackling, churning and frothing river on one side and looming pine trees on the other. Clean white sand and smooth boulders separate the lush green grass from the tumbling blue-green water of the river. Every bend in the river opens up to an exciting vista of pine trees, cliffs and waterfalls. All this is framed with snow capped peaks piercing the happy blue sky at the horizon, thus make a wonderful evening.

    Day 08
    Post Breakfast, Visit to Khirganga and Manikaran, It is also a Spiritual Site where Shiva is said to have meditated for 3000 years. The hot springs at Khirganga are extremely important for Hindu and Sikh pilgrims as well as many others who believe the waters have sacred healing properties. Evening is free to explore on you own.

    Day 09
    Early Morning After Breakfast, Drive back to Shimla which is approx 230 Km from kasol and will take around 6 Hrs to reach.
    Evening is free to rest at the hotel or visit to market.

    In the Morning After Breakfast we will proceed towards Chandigarh from a famous Kalka- Shimla Railway From Shimla to Kalka.
    From there you will be taken to 4* Property in Chandigarh. At Night One can rest at the Hotel room or came out to explore the night of Chandigarh.

    Day 11
    Post Breakfast, Visit to The Rock Garden, a sculpture garden in Chandigarh, India, also known as Nek Chand’s Rock Garden after its founder Nek Chand, a government official who started the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. Today it is spread over an area of 40 acres. It is completely built of industrial and home waste and thrown-away items.
    After that you will be taken to Rose Garden, which is a botanical garden located in Chandigarh, India and spread over 30 acres of land, with 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species. Named after India’s former president, Zakir Hussain and created in 1967 under the guidance of Dr M.S. Randhawa, Chandigarh’s first chief commissioner, the garden has the distinction of being Asia’s largest.
    Evening will be spent at Sukhna Lake which is a reservoir at the foothills of the Himalayas, the Shivalik hills. This 3 km² rainfed lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills.

    Day 12
    Post Breakfast, You will be Dropped at Chandigarh Airport and then you will be transferred to the Delhi Airport for your onward flight home or your further journey.
